The 30 Day Challenge: Day 13- My Opinion About my Body and how Comfortable I am with it

My candid opinion? I think I am fabulous!

Being a plus size, I have always been self conscious about myself. I know I am beautiful, and people  tell me always that I have a great body. However, I think I will totally believe them if I can shed just a little bit of weight.
I like myself the way I am but honestly think and know the right thing to do. I have started going down a bit and believe me its’ not an easy task at all ( I can liken it to going down a mountain with stilettos). It’s that easy. To think that packing on the pounds is as easy as “ABC”.

Am I comfortable? My answer is no.

However, I will ask myself the question this challenge didn’t ask- Am I confident? My answer is YES!

  3. I totally agree with you. I am definitely plus size....I feel like I am. People tell me that I have a nice body and that my skin is taut so I dont look flabby, but I will believe them after I lose some pounds...not too much.....and at the same rate, I am totally confident!

  4. The most important thing is the confidence you have in yourself. You could be a ten, without confidence, you'd feel either too skinny or too fat.

  8. I think it is the attitude that is more important. Keep on building on that acceptance.

Lemme officially introduce my "office food conscience" to you all. This madam has been a good friend. Harasses me non-stop when ever I think I should indulge.

  10. The confidence is the koko..for one who has moved from a size 8 to a size 10, i must say, i just did not know where all the fat came from.

But its not much difference, really. Just ensure that you are concious of not moving up another dress size.

  13. Confidence really matters, am currently on a weightloss programme and I now weight 77kg (was 90kg before) truly it's not easy o, but you can achieve it. However no matter the size u are, you gotta love urself and keep ur head up girl. All the best. Love ur blog.

I am interested in knowing what it is you did, and how long it took you to shed the 13kg.

  14. Confidence is an asset I believe every lady should possess. Even the best looking ones fail to understand their worth by letting inferiority complex in. I like your spirit, if you don't love you, who will?

  15. That's it - confidence! As long as you are confident in your body, then rock on...I'm having a hard time adjusting to my new weight having gone up 2 dress sizes in 4 years of marriage, but my hubby keeps telling me - just rock it! lol.

    1. I believe as long as you are comfortable, then its ok..."just rock it". But if you have that tiny feeling that you can do something about it, then do. It will actually boost your self confidence.
