Some wake up before morning
Some in the wee hours
Others in the morning
While some at mid-day
Nevertheless, they all go to work
Some toil in the sun
Some move from place to place
Others in their serene offices
While some sit at home all day
Nevertheless, they all go to work
Those who toil take their earnings
Those who move about, their salaries
Those in the offices get their rewards
While those at home get their satisfaction
Nevertheless, they all go to work
At the end of the day
The laborer knows that the days work is finished
The wanderers are accomplished
The Officers are fulfilled
While the homers are satisfied
Nevertheless their work is done.
Some complain
Some shrug
Others smile
While the rest look upward
