Recently I pondered over the saying …“the grass is greener on the other side”. It made me really wonder, what is it about human beings that always makes them hunger for that “extra thing”.
We push ourselves hard, try our best, do everything possible to have that feeling of “I did my best”, even though we don’t admit it to anyone (am sure you know what I am talking about). At that point when we want to pat ourselves on the back, we look up and see our neighbors lawn, and think, hey, his grass looks greener and neater!
Then the rat race begins again…we sweat, toil, press, push…
It never really ends. On and on it goes, except each time, the stakes are higher, the benefits are better, more worthwhile and rewarding.
Today, I urge you, get that second or third or fourth degree. Add that certification course. Finish that book. Travel. Do that noble thing. Go for that Training. Wake up. Just Live your life.
Natasha Beddingfield says… “fill the rain on your skin. No one else can fill it for you! Only you can let it in. No one else can speak the words on your lips".
There’s something in the distance and its so close you can almost reach it. Don’t let that opportunity pass!!!
