Motivated

Does money motivate you? No? Seriously? yes? Ah, we are kindred. Money motivates me well ooo. I won't lie. Of a truth, it's not the only thing that can motivate me. There are plenty of things that can motivate me and at different times too. But money will always be a big part of it. This morning I was chatting with Sisi Yemmie  and we had a really good talk. She doing most of the talking and me listening with rapt attention. I was so focused on what she was saying that I rejected about 6 calls (lol) e remain small make I write down wetin she dey talk self. Well, in everything she called me a lazy blogger (no offence taken) and encouraged me to make use of all I had at my disposal. I admit I have been a lazy blogger, but I will blame it on 2 things.  One is myself and my "known status". I am not by any means calling my self popular or anything, but there are so many drama's that happen in my life that I really wish I can come here to pour it out. Unfor...

My Seeing Glasses

The strangest thing happened to me this morning. Source I woke up after a really bad night and discovered my “seeing” glasses was not in the usual spot.  I call them seeing because that’s what I use them for not just for reading. Let me give you a little bit of history- If I do not have my glasses (or contacts) on my day will be miserable because I won’t see things or people. I am kinda short-sighted. So it means I get to squint a lot and miss out on activities all around me, not to even talk of people look at me strangely because they will think I am snubbing them. I remember one incidence way back when me and my sisters stayed  together in Bar Beach Towers. I heard a noise from my sleep and I just scrambled up from the bed without my glasses and tried to dash out of the room. Thankfully, my sister had locked the door and burglary proof if not I would have probably stumbled and fallen down the stairs as I wouldn’t have seen what was in my way. Anyway, I digress. Ok...

Thursday's Random

Hello blogworld! How have you been? Its been a minute, I know. Trust the weeks have been good to you? I went to Ibadan for a wedding last Saturday, and I had a really good time. We (we were a company of 8 people in 2 cars) left Lag about 6am because of the Environmental Sanitation and we were in IB in record time. We had so much time to spare before the wedding commenced that we went to the University of Ibadan Zoo. It was such an amazing time there. We saw all the animals they had there even though some of them were sleeping #Sadface. I felt sorry for the animals. Magnificent animals reduced to "puppets". The zoo concept is a good one, but I always wonder won't this animals be better off in the wild? Anyway, I had a great time seeing all the species of animals for display there. The one that got us all laughing was the gorrilla, abi na baboon. I don't even remember. He was just enjoying himself and entertaining us as well. Here are a few pictures... The donk...

Scandalous Grace

His choice shocked everyone.  Of all the pious, chaste and committed women in the county, he chose her! What in the world was he thinking? Elizabeth, Mary, Acquila, Priscillia,  Maude, and his choice was Tamar? Seriously?  Was he addled in the brain? Did Tamar's father influence his choice with cattle? Or with produce from his large farm? Could her brothers have threatened the master? For crying out loud, she was no better than a common prostitute and a murderer.  She had killed Er and then Onan but since she hadn't been caught red-handed, there was nothing to be done about it. Everyone just pointed accusing fingers,  but no one could cast a stone at her. Even her father-in-law was afraid for his youngest son Shelah and decided to send her packing. Like that wasn't enough, she got pregnant in her fathers house. Surely, she deserved to be stoned to death with the evil spawn growing in her womb? Instead, all we heard was that He had chosen her- Tamar. ****...

Nigeria needs help

Today was all forms of weird.  We need serious help in this country. I left my house after 10am today because of the environmental sanitation.  I went to my friends house to pick up the cake I had ordered for my brother's birthday. I couldn't sleep for the better part of the night and my friend on the other hand went for a vigil and went home to start baking. So neither of us had had sleep. We left the house, stopped at a supermarket to pick up a few things for my mum. I didn't get  what i wanted so we had to go to another one, then went on our way to deliver the cake and just visit. We had reached Big Treat  round about at Ogba and that's where trouble started. The traffic light was amber and we were so engrossed in our gist  that 3 police officers jumped us and surrounded the car. It was at that point the light turned red. Three of them wanted to enter the car but we refused and only a police women entered and asked us to keep moving.  At a point, t...

Track your vehicle

Bisi was dressed to kill at the wedding and she knew it. Not only was she smoldering her car also spoke volumes. She stepped out of her ride, shut the door and moved on to the party. She was fashionably late and there was a reason to it. It paid off. Every eye at the party turned to stare. Male, female and even children. She looked like she actually stepped out of the covers of a magazine. At the end of the event, she was tired, she had danced for one hour and she needed to go home. Mission accomplished. She stepped out to the spot where she left her car. Alas, it wasn't there anymore. Her dismay didn't know any efizzi. She dropped her bag, kicked off her heels and sat on the floor with her beautiful hair in her hands. Where on earth was she going to find her car? Someone asked her if she had installed a tracker on it and she sadly shook her head no. Be wise. Learn from Bisi's experience!!! I write to introduce to you OUTECH SECURE, we are leaders nationwide in t...
