I know Its not a habit per say, but it is. Kind of. Well, I mean if you neglect to take personal hygiene seriously everyday, then its a habit that is bad! I was working on my computer this morning when I caught a whiff of it. It was truly very unpleasant to my senses. Considering it was 8:00 am, I knew it must have been carried over from yesterday. It was just too concentrated. to have been from this morning alone! Unconsciously, I lifted my left hand, sniffed then lifted my right hand as well. I smiled, I smelled really fresh (*wink*). I looked up and I saw the cause. I was dismayed. How on earth do you get to smell like a he-goat so early in the morning? About 9:00 am I got hungry and decided to snack on an apple. Stealing is stealing no matter what it is that is been taken. I'll tell you why in a minute, but I want to emphasize that stealing is stealing. If you take someones property when the person is unaware, without the intention of informing the person then Congratulations!!!! You have just become a thief. Be it a book, a phone, a wife (or husband...lol) a blog post something as little as a pen, whatever it is. You will be branded a thief. Don't think its just the Nigerian politicians who embezzle funds, or the armed robber who steals and kills for personal gain. Come to think of it, even Robbin Hood was a thief. Ha. I live in Lagos and have always done so. As far back as primary school, I remember we were taught that it was very bad to do it in public. Unfortunately, rather than see this habit get extinguished it seems to be getting more rampant this days. I am talking of spitting. It is very disgusting and should not be done in public places. According to Wikipedia,  it is the act of forcibly ejecting saliva or other substances from the mouth. It is currently considered rude and a social taboo in many parts of the world including the West, while in some other parts of the world it is considered more acceptable. It is possible to transmit infectious diseases in this way. Personally, I doubt if it can ever be considered acceptable. Ever. In fact, as far back as the 19th Century in Western Europe, it was considered vulgar to spit in public. (Fancy that).
