A Lady

Treat her like a lady She is special A delicate piece of China So fragile she could be an egg A beauty crowned with brains Her intellect is refreshing Treat her with respect She is wise and not foolish Only create the right moment with the right opportunity Her wealth is wisdom Treat her like a star She twinkles like one

WORKERS

Some wake up before morning Some in the wee hours Others in the morning While some at mid-day Nevertheless, they all go to work Some toil in the sun Some move from place to place Others in their serene offices While some sit at home all day Nevertheless, they all go to work Those who toil take their earnings Those who move about, their salaries Those in the offices get their rewards While those at home get their satisfaction Nevertheless, they all go to work At the end of the day The laborer knows that the days work is finished The wanderers are accomplished The Officers are fulfilled While the homers are satisfied Nevertheless their work is done. Some complain Some shrug Others smile While the rest look upward Nevertheless their work is done.

Only you

Recently I pondered over the saying … “the grass is greener on the other side” . It made me really wonder, what is it about human beings that always makes them hunger for that “extra thing”. There is no win-win situation.  One party either wins or loses. When its a draw, its uninteresting. It is better when a victor emerges! The other day  was in a bus. When I got in, everyone was doing their business as usual. No one knew the other person, so we were all content to sit quietly. Musing, pondering, thinking, wishing, as the case may have been. Enjoying the smooth ride and dancing in rhythm to the bumps on the road. Ahead, I noticed a crowd, mostly men. I began to panic, wondering what could be happening. (It was night you see, and I hate being without a partner in the dark.). I craned my neck a little further, trying to see what could be happening. (I needed to know if I was supposed to get down and bolt as fast as possible before informing the other passeng...
