Random Muse: Finding Yourself in All of It

It’s funny how some days you wake up, inspired to do things, go places, and try something different from the norm. So you move differently, trying to achieve that thing because you believe that's exactly where you are meant to be.

And then somehow, you get stuck on the road. It could mean falling back on old habits, or simply finding it difficult to take the next step.

In the midst of all the noise, one thought stands out: You must find yourself.

This thought sits in your subconscious, fighting to come to the surface, yet the worries of life keep shoving it to the back. With each shove, your resolve to find yourself fades a little more, and you find yourself thinking, "I'm here now; let me stay here a little".

And then one day, the thought resurfaces, and you remember...

Oh, you remember.

You remember the things that used to excite you, the things that made you feel alive and whole.

The beauty of your dreams and aspirations comes back in full color, along with the sudden realization that there are still pieces of you waiting to be remembered.

Pieces waiting to be lived.

Sometimes, you have to surprise yourself by keeping moving. Never stop until you get to the place of your dreams, and beyond.

Keep getting better.

Keep doing the things that you love.

Keep discovering things.

I think that’s what it means to stay alive.

To keep going.

To succeed.

To win.

To tell a story.

Today, I remember where I am and where I really want to be. I remember the things I once asked for, the things I once wanted, and the person I once hoped I would become.

I sit here, hoping you always remember to keep moving, to keep becoming, to keep doing the things that matter to you. And when you get to a point where you need to stop, I hope you remember that desire to move again.

Because sometimes, life is not just about accomplishing something; it is also about finding yourself again. It is always about waking up. Remembering. And choosing to move.
